For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep desire to care for my home with wisdom, not just in how I clean, cook, or plan meals, but in how I spend, save, and steward what we’ve been given.

That’s where this new section, Provision Notes, comes in.
This is where I’ll be documenting what it looks like to live on one income, to stretch what we have, to find joy in a slower, simpler financial life. You won’t find big spreadsheets or budget gurus here. Just real, practical, weekly reflections from a wife and mom trying to stay faithful in this season and honest about what it takes.
What You Can Expect in Provision Notes
Here’s the kind of content I’ll be sharing in this space:
Weekly Spending Breakdowns
A simple look at what I spent during the week, outside of our bills. Groceries, household goods, unexpected purchases, little joys. I want to keep it honest and helpful.Living on One Income
The ups and downs of choosing to live on one income in today’s world, what’s working for us, what’s challenging, and where God is teaching me to trust.Grocery Hauls + Pantry Updates
You’ll see what I’m stocking up on, how I’m using what we already have, and where the money’s going each week in terms of food. I’ll also share how I’m building up our pantry again with intention.Small Wins + Setbacks
Some weeks I’ll feel great about our choices. Other weeks I might overspend or realize I could’ve planned better. Either way, you’ll get the real story.Saving + Stewardship Goals
Whether it’s saving for something special, paying down debt, or learning to hold off on impulse purchases, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on managing money with grace and purpose.
Why This Matters to Me
I don’t believe in perfection. Not in motherhood, not in homemaking, and definitely not in finances. But I do believe in stewardship. I believe in being mindful of what we bring into our homes and what we allow to slip away. I believe in tracking it, not from a place of shame, but from a place of learning.
Provision Notes is my way of slowing down, paying attention, and hopefully helping another mom out there feel a little less alone as she tries to do the same.
If you’ve ever:
Wondered where all your money went at the end of the week
Felt the pressure of feeding a family on a tighter grocery budget
Wanted to save but didn’t know where to start
Or simply needed a gentle reminder that your efforts matter…
This space is for you.
Let’s walk through it together.
Sincerely,
Takisha
I'm looking forward to it!
Ok thanks, cause I need these sheets in my life lol 😂
