I want to go on record and say this… I’m still learning.
I haven’t mastered prepping. I haven’t figured out the perfect system for meal planning or stocking up without stress. But I do know what I want: peace in my home, food on the table, and wisdom in how I manage it all. Sometimes that kind of peace doesn’t come from having it all together, it comes from slowing down, praying through it, and taking the next small step.
That’s exactly how Peace in the Pantry came to life.
One day I was standing in my pantry with my inventory tracker, just going through what I had left in our stockpile. I thought I had saved up about six months' worth of food. But looking at what remained, I realized we had already gone two full months without needing to shop, and I only had about one month left. What I assumed was a six-month supply was really only lasting us three.
That moment changed how I looked at everything.
I started paying close attention to how quickly food was being used, how long certain meals actually lasted, and what realistic long-term planning looked like for a family of six. I typically cook every two days — enough for the day of and the day after, but even with that, our supplies were stretching far less than I expected.
I had to face the truth… I’d been doing this all wrong.
That’s when I knew it was time to stop guessing and start preparing with intention. Given the times we’re living in, I knew I wanted to store enough for a full year and if I was being honest, a year might really mean two. That brought up so many questions: What does that kind of storage look like for our family? How do I rotate food in a way that keeps things fresh and used in time?
Out of that process, Peace in the Pantry was born.
This 80-page digital guide was created right in the middle of my learning curve. I didn’t write it because I had it all figured out. I wrote it because I needed something practical, honest, and faith-filled to help me get my footing again. And I believed that if it helped me, it could help someone else too.
To my surprise (and deep gratitude), Peace in the Pantry received four five-star reviews in just five days. Women who read the guide from beginning to end shared how it brought them comfort, clarity, and confidence in their homes — and that means everything to me.
I didn’t expect such an outpouring of encouragement so quickly. The truth is, I created this guide from a place of learning and growing in real time. So to hear that it’s already blessing other households, that’s confirmation that this kind of work matters.
I wanted to share just a few of the reviews I’ve received, not for praise, but as a reminder that preparation can be peaceful, purposeful, and rooted in love. That someone else out there is walking this same road with you.
